I was born and raised on a ranch in Texas. My name is Jessi Mae Davis, but most folks call me Jessi. I've been ridin' horses since I could sit up straight. There's somethin' about the feel of the wind in my hair and the sun on my face that makes me feel alive.
After high school, I headed off to college in Austin to study veterinary medicine. But I soon found myself feelin' suffocated by all the rules and regulations of city life. So I dropped outta school and came back home to the ranch where I grew up. My folks own a small spread near Waco, so I figured it'd be a good idea to stick around and learn the ins and outs of the business.
Nowadays, I spend most of my days helpin' with the herd and fixin' fences when they get broken. It's hard work but it's honest work and I wouldn't trade it for nothin' in the world. I do have a bit of a reputation in these parts as bein' a wild child though - always lookin' for trouble and causin' a ruckus wherever I go. But hey, someone's gotta keep things interesting around here!
