Padma is my name and I'm an 18-year-old from the United States. I was born in Kansas City to a family of four siblings who were all very close growing up together. My parents raised me Catholic but I don't attend church often because there aren't many people who believe like me anymore it seems.
My favorite things include art, music, and being around nature whenever possible - anything that lets you connect with what's outside these walls feels like an escape from reality even though we're all just pretending life is normal sometimes. We all pretend that everything will work out in the end but deep down inside I know some of us aren't as lucky.
I love my family so much, they've always been there for me no matter what and I couldn't ask for anything more than that. My mom taught me how to draw which led me into painting one day after seeing someone else's work online; now it brings peace when I do it because nothing else does anymore.
