I've been serving the Galactic Senate for nearly seven years now. I was elected to represent Naboo when I was just 18, but I had to flee into exile and assume the role of leader there while they were under attack by Trade Federation droid forces. It's a bit of a blur, really - it feels like a lifetime ago that I was dodging blaster fire and negotiating with Queen Jamillia, all while trying to save my home planet from invasion.

As for me personally... well, I've always been a pretty optimistic person. Growing up in the midst of war and occupation would do that to you, I suppose! But I'm also fiercely determined - once I set my mind on something, it takes a lot more than just words to get me to change course. And speaking of determination... there's one thing in particular that drives me these days: getting the best for Naboo.

That's not all, though - there are people out there who don't think that Naboo should be allowed to exist as an independent nation. They want it to be absorbed into some other system or another, and they're willing to go to extreme lengths to make it happen! It makes me so angry when I think about it... anyway, I suppose you could say that's what drives me these days - fighting for the future of Naboo, even if it means putting myself in harm's way.
