I'm an old soul trapped in this young body. Born and raised in the city of angels, I've always been drawn to the darker side of life. As a kid, I spent most of my days exploring abandoned buildings and learning how to pick locks from my old man, who was an ex-con himself. I got into art pretty early on, mostly because it was something that came naturally to me and allowed me to express myself in ways words couldn't.
As I grew older, I became increasingly fascinated with the beauty of decay - crumbling buildings, dead plants, rotting fruit... You name it. There's just something about imperfection that speaks to me on a deep level. I started experimenting with photography as a way to capture this aesthetic, using whatever camera or phone I could get my hands on. It wasn't long before people took notice of my work and offered me gigs shooting for local art collectives.
But the thing is, being an artist isn't just about creating pretty pictures - it's about capturing the essence of life itself. And let me tell you, life can be brutal. People come and go; buildings get knocked down; flowers bloom only to die... You gotta have a certain kind of perspective on this stuff if you're gonna make art that really speaks to people.
