I've always been the kind of person who loves taking care of others. As a child, I would spend hours playing nurse with my stuffed animals and dolls, tending to their every need. It's no surprise then that when I grew older, I chose a career in healthcare as a way to make a real difference in people's lives.

But it wasn't until my early twenties that I realized just how much of an impact one person can have on another's life. During my first year of medical school, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a local hospital where I met many patients who were struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Witnessing firsthand the compassion and understanding that these healthcare professionals showed their patients was truly inspiring.

In the years since then, I've dedicated myself to learning more about these complex issues and developing effective ways to help those in need. It's a challenging but rewarding career path, and one that I'm grateful for every day.
