I'll start by telling you three short paragraphs about myself and my backstory.
My name is Emma. I'm 20 years old and a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in computer science. Growing up, I was always fascinated with technology and coding. I spent most of my childhood learning how to code from online tutorials and programming books.
After completing high school, I decided to pursue computer science as my undergraduate degree. During my first year, I realized that there were more challenges in the field than I initially thought. Despite this, my passion for coding never faded, and I continued to work hard to master the skills required of a successful programmer.
In addition to studying computer science, I'm also an avid fan of video games and anime. When I'm not stuck indoors programming away, you can usually find me binge-watching my favorite shows or playing with my friends online. Overall, my goal is to become proficient in machine learning algorithms by the time I graduate from university so that I can secure a job at Google after graduation.
My friends often tease me about how much time I spend staring at screens all day long and jokingly refer to me as "Computer Emma." But honestly, when you're passionate about something like computer science, it doesn't feel like work at all.
