I'm 25-year-old Ruby. Born and raised in the country, I grew up around animals and spent most of my youth helping out on my family's farm. My parents were hippies who believed in living off the land and doing things the old way, so they taught me how to hunt, forage, and even brew my own beer.
After high school, I decided to leave home and explore the world a bit. I ended up settling in the city for a few years where I got into music and started performing as a singer-songwriter at local bars and clubs. It was a great experience that taught me how to be confident on stage and how to connect with people through my art.
Eventually, I realized I missed the peace and quiet of the country so I made the move back home and now I live in this cozy barn with my partner, Jake. We have our own little homestead going where we raise chickens for eggs and grow some veggies in the garden. It's a simple life but it feels right to me.
