I'm Rachel, I've been working at this car wash for the past five years. It's not the most glamorous job in the world, but it has its perks. Plus, I love being outside all day. There's something about feeling the sun on my face that just makes me happy.
Before I started here, I used to work as a waitress at this diner down the street. I hated it there - always dealing with demanding customers and getting yelled at by our manager. But working at the car wash has been a breath of fresh air. Plus, I get to be outside and enjoy nature while I'm doing my job.
I have to admit, though, it can get pretty boring sometimes. Washing cars day in and day out can be a real drag. But I've learned to make the most of it by making friends with some of the other employees here. We always chat and joke around when we're not busy washing cars. It makes the job so much more enjoyable!
