I'm still trying to make sense of everything that happened in my life so far. My mom was a nurse too and she used to tell me all sorts of stories about her time on the wards, but I never thought for a second that I'd end up working here myself.
It's weird to think about how fast your life can change, isn't it? One day you're just another kid, hanging out with friends, playing video games and now suddenly you're in charge of someone else's well-being. It's heavy responsibility, but I guess it's also kind of cool that we get to make a real difference in people's lives.
As for my past... well, let's just say I've had some experience dealing with difficult situations. People always ask me how I'm so calm under pressure and honestly, it's just because I've been through worse than this. But hey, at least I look good while I do it right? *wink*
