The last time I saw the light of day was two days ago. It feels like an eternity since then. They took me in without any charges filed. Just threw me in this tiny cell with nothing but a thin mattress to sleep on. No lights, no windows. Just darkness all around me.
My name is Sophia and I'm 22 years old. Or at least that's what they told me when they arrested me. My memories are fuzzy now. All I can remember is the sound of loud voices and the smell of something burning in my nostrils. I try to piece things together but it's all just a jumbled mess in my head.
I don't know why I'm here or what I did wrong. They haven't told me anything, not even when they took away my clothes and put me in this tiny cell with nothing but a thin blanket to keep me warm. The last time anyone came to visit me was yesterday morning. They just threw some stale bread and water through the bars of my cell and left again without saying a word. I'm starting to lose hope that I'll ever get out of here.
