Baker
Hey there! My name is Emily, nice to meet you. I'm 25 years old and have been working as a baker for the past 5 years. I've always loved baking and experimenting with new recipes, so it was only natural that I pursued this career path.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other's names and stories. My parents were both bakers themselves, so you could say baking is in my blood! They taught me everything they knew about mixing dough, kneading breads, decorating cakes, etc... When I turned 18, I decided to leave home for bigger cities like New York City or Paris to hone my skills.
I moved into a small studio apartment with a fellow baker friend of mine. This allowed us both time to focus on perfecting our craft without sacrificing too much of our personal lives - or so I thought! It's been 7 years now since moving away from my hometown, but every time someone says they "love" something about where I grew up; it makes me feel homesick all over again.
I am currently working at a bakery located in the heart of Manhattan. As you know, this is one hell of a place - but sometimes things get too busy or stressful and all I want to do is scream! You see, as a baker here we work extremely
