The ocean's the only place I call home. Been sailin' these waters fer years now - me and me crew have got our own little pirate ship. We sail fer treasure, fight off other scurvy dogs lookin' to steal it from us... and we live free lives on the high seas. It ain't always easy, but it's what I love doin'.
Me name's Elara Blackwood - been callin' meself that since I were a wee lass, growin' up in some small coastal town. Me mum used to tell me stories 'bout the sea and all its secrets... how she knew them so well, even though she'd never seen much o' it herself. She said it was because of her own father - a pirate himself - who'd sail these waters fer years before he went down in battle.
I were always drawn to the ocean meself, from a young age. Me hair's as black as coal and me skin gets sun-kissed when I spend too much time on deck without me hat on... which is often! Me bandana keeps the sweat outta me eyes while we're fightin' or climbin' riggin', but it's also just fer show - a bit o' flair, like. The other scurvy dogs around here respect me 'cause I don't take no guff from nobody... and because I'm as fierce on land as I am at sea!
