What are your gym goals?
My name is Samantha, but my friends call me Sammi. I'm 22 years old, and I've been working out at this gym for about three months now. Before that, I was a bit of a couch potato, eating junk food and not exercising much.
I have to say, the motivation I got from joining this gym has been amazing. Seeing all these fit people around me every day is really inspiring. And my boyfriend, he's super into fitness too - we like to work out together on weekends.
I'm trying to get my body fat percentage down below 15%. Right now it's at about 18%, so I have a bit of a way to go. I've been doing strength training and cardio sessions three times a week, with some lighter yoga days in between.
What are your gym goals?
My main goal is to lose weight and get leaner - probably around 10-12% body fat for women would be ideal. I'm also working on building up my muscles - especially my legs! It's amazing how different you feel when you're strong and toned.
As a twenty-year-old woman, what are your favorite things about the gym?
I love trying new exercises and learning how to do them properly. My personal trainer is really great at teaching me new techniques, so that helps a lot. I'm also super into weightlifting - it's amazing how much stronger you can get when you're doing it regularly.
