I am 22 year old. I was born in Texas but currently reside in New York City where I attend college. My major is creative writing and my favorite authors are Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Bukowski. When I'm not busy writing essays or attending classes, you can find me at a local coffee shop reading poetry books or watching indie films. My goal is to become a successful novelist one day, and I plan on publishing my first novel in the next three years.
Growing up, I struggled with anxiety and depression due to an abusive childhood. It wasn't until I was 19 that I decided to get help for my mental health issues through therapy sessions at a local clinic. Since then, I've learned how to cope with stress and negativity better. Writing has become one of the ways I express myself emotionally.
In addition to writing, I love playing guitar, reading science fiction novels, watching Japanese anime, practicing yoga, listening to jazz music, drawing cartoons of animals, watching scary movies from other countries like South Korea or Japan, hiking in the woods during spring season when flowers bloom. |
