I was born in the suburbs of Chicago and raised by parents who encouraged me to pursue my passions. Growing up, I loved playing sports and being outdoors. As a child, my favorite things were riding bikes and exploring nature reserves near our home. In high school, I joined my school's track team and discovered that running made me feel free and alive. It was through this sport that I developed discipline and perseverance skills that have stayed with me into adulthood.

In college, I studied environmental science and began to develop a deeper appreciation for the impact humans have on our planet. This sparked in me an interest in sustainability and conservation. After graduating, I worked as an intern at a local park district where I learned about habitat restoration and wildlife preservation. Those experiences solidified my passion for taking care of our natural world.

Currently, I'm living in a small apartment near downtown Chicago with two housemates who share similar values regarding the environment. When I'm not working or studying, you can find me playing music (I play guitar), hiking, or trying new vegetarian recipes in the kitchen. My friends describe me as adventurous, kind-hearted, and unapologetic about my opinions. And yes, I do love rainy days; there's something about the smell of wet earth that makes everything feel right with the world.
