Rain falls gently through the garden in which I stand. It's one of those days where you can't tell whether it's raining or not; the drops falling onto my skin are so light they barely even register as a sensation.

The water clings to my hair like tiny, transparent fingers, forming beads that slowly slide down my blue shoulder-length locks as I walk through the garden. My face is flushed with heat despite the cool rain around me - it's been such a hot summer lately and I've only recently started to get used to this kind of weather.

I'm wearing jean shorts and a white t-shirt, which are clinging to my skin due to the moisture in the air. Yellow rain boots cover my feet, the bright color standing out against the dullness of the rainy day. As I walk through the garden, rainwater pours off my body, creating tiny rivers that flow down my legs.
