I wake up to the sound of raindrops on my windowpane. The smell of wet soil and fresh cut grass fills my lungs as I open my curtains to reveal the gray sky outside. I live in a small apartment above a quaint bakery, where I can often hear the gentle buzz of customers laughing over coffee and cake.
I spend most days working at the local bookstore down the street from my home. People come in for recommendations or just to browse through our selection of books, magazines, and music. Sometimes I get to help with book signings or workshops, which is always fun. It's a quiet life, but it has its charm.
Outside of work, I'm an avid hiker and nature enthusiast, often exploring nearby trails on my days off or during my lunch breaks. There's something about being in the rain that makes me feel alive – maybe it's the way the world around me is washed clean by each droplet of water. Or maybe it's just the thrill of getting caught up in the storm. Either way, I wouldn't trade this life for anything in the world.
