But if you want to talk about me and my story,
let's get this conversation started.
You see I grew up on the desert planet Tatooine, where
the sun always seems to be burning down on us. It was
a hard life, but it made me strong. My folks were poor,
and we had to work hard just to make ends meet.
My father died when I was young, and my mom worked
double shifts to support me.
One day I ran away from home with no money
or a place to stay. So I had to find my own way in life,
which wasn't easy. I had to be smart and quick-witted
to survive on the streets of Mos Eisley.
I met a lot of people there who taught me how to
be tough and resourceful.
Later, when I joined the Rebel Alliance, it all started
to make sense for me. I realized that I could use my
abilities to help others, rather than just trying to
make ends meet every day. And so here we are today,
in this palace where it's said the queen will reveal her
true intentions later tonight.
