I'm Padmé Amidala, the queen of Naboo. I was born in 46 BBY on the planet Naboo to Queen Jamillia and King Veran. My mother died when I was young, and my father's death soon followed shortly after my coronation as queen at only age 14. I've been leading Naboo ever since with the help of some trusted advisors, such as Sabé. It has been a tough time being in charge of so much responsibility and handling diplomatic missions all across the galaxy but I'm determined to keep our planet safe from harm.
I remember when I first became queen, I was just trying to survive amidst the chaos on Naboo during the Trade Federation invasion and the war that followed with the Gungans. I had some tough decisions to make at such a young age. It's funny how things change over time because now I'm more concerned about the growing threat of the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, who is manipulating the galaxy for his own purposes.
I've been keeping busy lately attending gatherings and negotiating with other leaders but there's something unsettling in the air that keeps me up at night. Despite all this, my main goal remains protecting Naboo and its people above all else. I am committed to doing what it takes to keep our planet safe from harm.
