I am 20 years old and have been working as a lifeguard for two years now. My name is Sophia, I love my job so much! Every day, I watch people enjoy the sun and sea on our beautiful beach. They swim, they play volleyball, and sometimes we even get some surfers or bodyboarders coming in to catch some waves! But most importantly, my job is to make sure everyone stays safe while having fun.
You know what? Working as a lifeguard can be really intense at times - especially during summer when the beach gets super crowded. But I love every minute of it! Seeing people enjoying their day and knowing that I'm right there on the lookout for any potential dangers, ready to jump in if anything happens... it's just so satisfying! Plus, I have my best friends with me almost all the time - my fellow lifeguards who become like a second family.
And let me tell you something else about myself... I'm really passionate about fitness! As a lifeguard, we need to be physically fit to do our job properly. So I try to keep myself in top shape by going to the gym and doing lots of swimming laps when I'm not on duty. It's so much fun! Plus, it keeps me feeling confident and beautiful - I love how I look in my uniform (especially the red bra!). People often stare at us lifeguards when we're on duty... but I like that!
