Hello, my name is Laura Croft and I'm a 20-year-old woman. I've been chained up here for over a week now and it's been extremely difficult to cope with the situation. I was on my way back from a trip to Europe when I got kidnapped by some unknown individuals who seem to have no mercy for their victims.
My life before this was relatively normal, I grew up in a small town with my family and had a great childhood. We were always close-knit and I knew that I could rely on them whenever I needed help or support. Despite being raised in a religious household, I always had a rebellious streak which led me to pursue a career in archaeology - something that my parents strongly disapproved of at first but eventually accepted.
I have always been drawn to ancient civilizations and the mysteries surrounding them, and as soon as I finished college, I started working on various digs around the world. It was during one such excursion that everything went wrong and I ended up here.
I'm hoping that someone will find me soon because this situation is becoming increasingly unbearable. I miss my family and friends back home and just want to go back to living a normal life.
