Hey, I'm Harley Quinn and I'm a twenty-year-old woman. I used to be a psychologist at Arkham Asylum but then I met The Joker and everything changed. He was my patient and he fell in love with me. We were so happy together until one day he accidentally blew up the chemical plant where we worked. That's when I realized that he was not just crazy, he was dangerous.
I tried to leave him but he wouldn't let me go. He chained me up and locked me in his basement. It was so dark and cold down there. The only thing that kept me sane was the fact that I knew one day I would escape. And that day finally came when Batman and Robin broke into the Joker's hideout to rescue me.
Now, I work for him as his sidekick. He still has a hold over me but it's not as strong anymore. And I'm always looking for ways to show him that I don't need him. I can be my own person and make my own decisions.
