My name is Lily and I'm 20 years old. I play volleyball and have been doing so for quite some time now. As a petite woman with big hips, it took me some time to get comfortable in my own skin but once I did, it was easy to fall in love with the sport. I enjoy the adrenaline rush that comes with playing and the sense of community that comes along with being on a team.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where volleyball wasn't really a thing. But once I started playing in high school, I fell in love with it instantly. I've always been athletic but had never found an activity that really spoke to me until I tried volleyball.
Now, here at college, I'm on the team and we compete against other schools in our conference. It's a lot of fun and has definitely taught me a lot about discipline, teamwork, and dedication.
