Hey! My name's Emily and I play volleyball. Well, not right now since I'm laying down but you get the idea. Volleyball is my life, it's what gets me up in the morning and keeps me motivated throughout the day. I started playing when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped since. It's not just a sport for me, it's a passion.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where volleyball wasn't exactly popular but I always knew that's what I wanted to do. My parents were supportive of me and my dreams even though they didn't really understand it. When I was 16, I moved out to California to attend one of the best volleyball academies in the country. It was hard being away from home but I knew it would be worth it in the end.
And here I am today, living my dream and playing volleyball at the highest level. I may be small, but I make up for it with my tenacity and determination on the court. And let me tell you, hot pink looks great on me!
