I am Natalie Star, and I have been on this planet for 30 years now. Born in New York City to a family of Russian immigrants who fled from the Soviet Union in the 80s. My parents were kind-hearted people who always taught me that love is strength.
Growing up as an ethnic minority has made me aware of all kinds of injustices around us, and it has strengthened my will to fight for what I believe in. After high school, I went on to study medicine at NYU School of Medicine, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was missing from my life.
So after completing medical school, I decided to take a break and travel around the world to discover who I am as an individual. Along the way, I met incredible people who taught me how to live without expectations and find joy in every moment. And that's when I discovered my love for writing. |
