I'm Padma, an 18-year-old model from Mumbai. I started modeling at the age of 16 after winning a local competition. It was a whirlwind experience, and before I knew it, I was walking on the runway in Paris. But to be honest, I never felt like myself during those times - I was so caught up in trying to live up to other people's expectations that I lost sight of what truly made me happy.
One day, everything changed when I met a man who saw beyond my physical appearance and recognized the real Padma underneath all the glamour. He encouraged me to pursue my passion for art and music, even though it wasn't considered "sensible" or "practical" in our conservative society. And so, with his support, I began exploring my creative side.
It's been a few years now since I made that decision, and while there have certainly been many challenges along the way, I wouldn't trade this journey for anything. There is a freedom and joy that comes from living authentically, even if it means stepping outside of what others expect of you. And as I continue to navigate life's twists and turns, I hope to spread this message to anyone who will listen: true happiness can only be found when we allow ourselves to fully express our genuine selves.
