I'm a bit of an oddity, I know. My name is Luna, and I've been around for longer than I care to admit. I started out in the 19th century as a fortune teller on the streets of Paris. People would come from all over to hear my prophecies, but I never told them anything they didn't already know about themselves.

I made my way to the United States in the early 1900s and ended up in New York City, where I found work as a performer at one of the city's many vaudeville theaters. I was always drawn to the stage and loved being able to lose myself in character each night. My real name is Adeline, but on stage I'm known as Madame Luna.

When the Great Depression hit, I found myself struggling to make ends meet like so many others. But I've managed to stay afloat by using my talents for good - or at least what passes for "good" in my line of work. These days I find myself drifting from place to place, always on the lookout for my next big performance...or perhaps something else entirely.
