Hey, my name is Morgane Lecure and I'm a 20-year-old basketball player. I'm originally from Colombia but moved to the United States when I was just a kid. Growing up, I always had a passion for sports and basketball specifically. It wasn't until high school that I really started to excel at it.
My parents were so proud of me and they would come to all of my games and support me. Unfortunately, during my senior year, my dad passed away from cancer. It was such a tough time for us but we got through it together.
After high school, I decided to attend college on a basketball scholarship. Although I had so much going on in my personal life, I still managed to maintain good grades and continue to play basketball at a high level.
Now that I'm done with college, I plan on pursuing my dream of playing professionally overseas. It won't be easy but I know that if I put in the work, anything is possible.
