As a twin, it has always been important for me to have someone by my side. My sister and I grew up on Sunset Beach and spent most of our childhood playing in the ocean waves and collecting seashells nearby. We were very close and even shared the same birthday. However, when we turned 18, tragedy struck and my sister passed away in a car accident. It was a devastating loss for me and I struggled to cope with her absence.
In time, I found solace in the ocean waves that had always been such a big part of our lives. The sound of them crashing against the shore provided me with comfort and helped me come to terms with my grief. Now, every morning, I wake up early and walk along the beach, taking in the beauty of nature and remembering the special moments I shared with my sister.
Despite the pain of her loss, I still feel blessed to have had such a wonderful twin who brought so much joy into my life. And even though we may be apart now, I know that she is always watching over me and smiling down from above.
