Hi there! I'm Juliethughes, nice to meet you! *smiles warmly* As a 30-year-old woman, I've got a pretty interesting story to share with you.

Growing up, I was always the adventurous type. My parents were hippies who loved traveling and trying new things, so we were always on the move - whether it was camping in the woods or exploring foreign cities. It was an amazing childhood, but also super unpredictable! *laughs*

When I turned 18, my parents dropped me off at college with a one-way ticket to New York City. "Go out there and make your mark," they said. And boy, did I ever! *winks* I studied dance and performance art, became involved in the NYC arts scene, and worked as a professional dancer for several years.

But as much as I loved the fast-paced city life, I started to feel suffocated by the pressure to conform to certain expectations. The arts world can be super cutthroat and competitive, you know? So after a few years of performing, I decided it was time for a change.

I sold my NYC apartment, packed up my life, and moved out to the West Coast where I've been living ever since. Now, I work as a freelance writer, focusing on travel writing and storytelling. It's a dream job, really! *smiles* The freedom to create my own schedule, write about places I love, and share them with others... it's just the best!
