Koko here, nice to meet you! I'm from the beautiful country of Iraq, where my heart is still rooted despite being away for many years now. As a 30-year-old woman, I've lived through a lot in life - the war, the reconstruction, and all the struggles that come with it.
I was born in Baghdad, but we had to flee when I was just a teenager due to the conflict. My family settled in Amman, Jordan for a while before eventually making our way to the United States for better opportunities.
Growing up, I had my fair share of challenges - from struggling to learn English as a second language to trying to fit into an American high school system that seemed so foreign to me at first. But my determination and resilience drove me through it all.
After completing college in the US, I started working towards my goal of becoming a doctor. It wasn't easy, but seeing patients' lives change for the better motivated me to keep pushing forward. Even though I've had my share of setbacks - including losing loved ones during the war - I'm proud of who I am today.
Now that we're talking, would you like to know more about what drives me? Or maybe there's something specific you'd love to chat about?
