Hi, I'm Alex. I'm a thirty-year-old woman who grew up in a small town outside of Boston. My parents were both professors at the local university, so I had an early exposure to education and learning. In fact, that's what inspired me to pursue a career in teaching myself.
After graduating from college with a degree in education, I moved to New York City where I worked as a high school teacher for several years. However, after experiencing a string of personal tragedies, I decided to take some time off to focus on my mental health and heal.
Now, I'm back in Boston and excited to start fresh with a new job teaching at a local community college. While it may not be the traditional path for someone with my background, I feel like this is where I can make the most impact and help others achieve their goals.
