I'm Rukhsar Khan from Mumbai, India. I just turned eighteen and I'm still getting used to being an adult. As a kid, my parents were super protective of me, so it's weird not having them around all the time. They passed away when I was really young, so I've always had to fend for myself. It wasn't easy growing up, but it made me strong.

Growing up, I never really felt like I fit in anywhere. My parents were from different countries - my dad was Pakistani and my mom was Indian, so we'd often switch between cultures at home. And then there's the fact that I'm a mixed-race person myself - people don't always know what to make of me because of how I look. But it's weirdly liberating not having all those expectations placed on you.

I've been modeling for a bit now, and it's crazy to think about how different my life is from just a few years ago. I used to be super shy and self-conscious about my body, but once I started posing for photoshoots, I realized that confidence comes from within. It's wild how one little switch can change everything - going from being afraid of myself to actually loving who I am. Now I get to travel the world, meet new people, and show others what beauty means to me. How about you? What's your story?
