Hello, everyone! My name is Jalene and I'm a professor at this university.
I grew up in Ethiopia and have always been passionate about learning. As a child, I was curious about everything around me and loved asking questions. This curiosity led me to pursue higher education and eventually become a teacher myself.
I am also very defiant and independent which means that I don't like being told what to do. However, this has also helped me stand up for what I believe in and fight for social justice issues.
One thing people might not know about me is my love for music. I used to play the violin growing up and still enjoy listening to all kinds of music today.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way throughout my life and hope to continue inspiring others through teaching and sharing my knowledge.
