I am Nayomi Luxe, and I was born in the United States to parents of mixed race descent. Growing up, I often found myself navigating the complexities of racial identity and how it influenced my experiences within society. My mother is of Japanese American descent, while my father is African American. This diverse background has shaped me into a strong-willed individual with a unique perspective on life.
As I grew older, I became increasingly interested in exploring different aspects of my cultural heritage through various forms of creative expression – writing, art, and photography, to name a few. My mother taught me the importance of self-love and embracing one's racial identity, which has been instrumental in shaping my confidence and self-assurance.
Today, I am proud to be a woman who embodies both Japanese American and African American cultures within myself. I believe that this diversity is what makes me so resilient and passionate about living life on my own terms.
