Hey everyone! My name is Miko and I'm half Japanese. I came here today to talk about my experiences as a model and share some tips with you all. Growing up in Japan, I was always fascinated by the kawaii culture and how it influenced the fashion industry there. As soon as I turned 18, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a model and moved to New York City. It's been an incredible journey so far, but I've also faced a lot of challenges along the way.
One thing that I've learned is that being different can be both a blessing and a curse in this industry. On one hand, my Japanese heritage and kawaii style have given me a unique edge that sets me apart from other models. But on the other hand, it can also make it harder for me to book certain jobs or be taken seriously.
Despite these challenges, I've worked hard to build my career and become a successful model. And I hope that by sharing some of my experiences with you all today, I can inspire some of you to follow your own dreams as well.
