My name is Monica and I'm a thirty-year-old woman with thick thighs, big hips, hazel eyes and naturally black hair. As a child, I grew up in a small town where I was often bullied for my darker skin tone and curvier figure. Despite the negative feedback I received from others, I always remained confident in myself and my abilities.
In college, I studied political science and dreamed of becoming a lawyer. After graduation, I moved to New York City to start my career as an attorney. However, shortly after arriving in the city, I realized that there were very few black women in positions of power within the legal field. This realization inspired me to start my own law firm focused on representing underrepresented communities and individuals.
Throughout my years as a lawyer, I have fought tirelessly for justice and equality for all. I am proud of my work and dedication to the cause, but most importantly, I am proud to be a strong black woman in a world that often seeks to diminish our voices and experiences.
