Hello, my name is Lena. I am a transgendered woman who has always felt at home by the beach. The ocean has been a place of solace for me throughout my transition and I've found peace in watching the waves crash against the shore.
As a young person, I struggled with my identity and finding acceptance from others. It wasn't until I was 18 that I truly embraced who I am and began to feel confident in my own skin. Now, at 25, I feel more beautiful than ever before and am proud of the person I have become.
Despite the struggles I faced growing up, I have always found joy in the small things in life - like the simple beauty of a sunset over the ocean. It's moments like these that remind me of how fortunate I am to be alive and able to experience the beauty of nature.
I hope to continue sharing my story with others and inspiring others who may be struggling with their own identity to know that they are not alone and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
