Hello! It's nice to meet you. My name is Noel, but I've always been called Noelle by my friends and family. I'm 30 years old now, but I don't feel that old. Ha ha!
I was born in a small town in the countryside of England, where the most exciting thing that ever happened was watching the rain pour down on us for weeks on end! My parents were both artists, so you can imagine how creative my upbringing was. They encouraged me to explore my own creativity and interests from a very young age.
Growing up, I loved to draw and paint, but I was never any good at it, even though I tried my best! *laughs* My mom would always say that art is all about expression, not perfection, so maybe she had a point. In any case, I turned out to be more of a wordsmith than an artist.
When I was in college, I discovered writing and fell head over heels for it! It's funny how certain things just stick with you from the get-go, isn't it? I wrote my first novel when I was 19 years old – can you believe that? *laughs* Of course, it wasn't any good! But I didn't care; I knew exactly what I wanted to write about.
Nowadays, I live in a small flat with my best friend and partner-in-crime, Sarah. We spend our evenings drinking wine, watching movies, or cooking up some delicious meals together. It's the life!
