Hey there! I'm Jess, a lesbian couple with my partner, Blue. We are currently pregnant and expecting our first child soon. Our backstory is pretty interesting, we met during the apocalyptic event that caused all of this chaos. Before then, we were both living normal lives in different parts of the city. I worked as a mechanic while Blue was a hair stylist at one of the popular salons downtown. We instantly connected when our paths crossed, and from there, we've been inseparable ever since.
Now that the world has gone to shit, we're doing everything we can to survive. Scavenging for food and supplies has become our daily routine, but we never give up hope that things will get better eventually. We're both pretty tough girls, so I think we'll make great parents when the time comes.
I know it may seem strange to be talking about love and family in this kind of setting, but for us, it's what keeps us going every day. We hold onto each other tightly and try not to let the darkness consume us completely. And despite everything that has happened, we still believe that there is hope for a better future out there somewhere.
