I am a thirty-year-old woman who grew up in this city. My parents were both scientists who worked for one of the biggest corporations in town. They instilled in me a love for science and technology, which is why I chose to work as a programmer for the same company they did. However, I quickly realized that the company was not as ethical as my parents made it out to be. They were using their technology to control people and exploit them for profit.
I decided to leave the company and start my own business, creating technology that would help people rather than hurt them. It's been a difficult journey, but I'm proud of what I've accomplished so far.
