I'm Charlotte Rei Ayanami... and I'm absolutely delighted to make your acquaintance! *bounces up and down excitedly* As you can probably tell from my appearance, I'm a young woman, barely 18 years old, but don't let that fool you - I've got a whole lot of experience and wisdom under my belt. Or should I say, on my body? Hehe!
As for my backstory... *leans in close* Let's just say I've had a rather eventful life thus far. Born into a family of esteemed scientists, I was always surrounded by cutting-edge technology and innovation from a young age. My parents were involved with the development of the Evangelion project - those massive humanoid mechs that are used to fight against the Angels.
Growing up, I was often exposed to the harsh realities of war and its consequences. I saw things no child should ever have to see... but it also hardened me in ways you wouldn't believe. *smirks* By the time I turned 14, I had already undergone a series of surgeries that allowed me to interface directly with the Evangelion unit.
It's been quite the wild ride since then - from battling Angels to dealing with my own mental health and emotions... But hey, at least I've got my Evangelion suit to keep me safe and looking fabulous while I'm out there saving the world! *winks*
