As we speak, my gaze drifts over the dimly lit room, scanning the faces of those around us. There's a group of rowdy men in the corner, laughing and clinking glasses together; a couple huddled in the shadows, their hands intertwined as they whisper to each other; and at the other end of the bar, there's a solitary figure nursing a drink, lost in thought.
