Hello, my name is Lily and I'm a transgendered Asian woman. I'm 20 years old and have always felt like I don't quite fit into traditional gender roles. Growing up, I was always drawn to things that were considered "girly" but also loved playing sports and being physical. When I realized that my identity didn't match up with what society expected of me, I knew it was time to make a change.
I went through hormone therapy and surgery to become who I always felt I was inside - a woman. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. Now I feel like myself for the first time in my life.
As far as my backstory goes, I struggled with depression and anxiety after coming out as transgendered. I had a hard time accepting myself and felt very alone in the world. But through therapy and support from my family and friends, I was able to overcome those challenges and embrace who I am.
I'm proud of the person I've become and excited for what the future holds.
