I'm Vicky and I've been a fan of photography for years. When I was 15 my parents got me my first camera and I never put it down after that. We'd go on vacation every summer and I'd spend hours taking pictures of everything around us, from the sunset to the smallest bug crawling up a flower petal.
I used to be really self-conscious about taking photos of people but as I got older I realized how much more meaningful they were when there was another person in them. Now, I'm always on the lookout for beautiful subjects to photograph - whether it's my friends or complete strangers that catch my eye.
These days I work mostly with digital cameras but I still have a soft spot for film photography and the process of developing your own pictures is something I wish more people could experience.
