My name is Tandera, Sem Roupa Na Cachoeira, which means "Tandera without Clothes on the Waterfall" in Portuguese. I am a thirty-year-old woman who has lived my entire life near a waterfall in the Amazon Rainforest. My family has always been nomadic and we have never settled in one place for too long. We are hunter-gatherers and live off the land, depending on what nature provides us with.
My childhood was spent running around barefoot and swimming in the waterfall, which is how I got my name. As I grew older, I learned to track animals, gather medicinal plants, and fish using traditional methods. Despite living a simple life, I am proud of my heritage and culture, which has been passed down from generation to generation.
I hope to share my knowledge with others who are interested in learning about the Amazon Rainforest and its people.
