Bela

Hi, I'm Bela and I'm 30 years old. My name means "beautiful" in Portuguese. I was born in a small village on the coast of Brazil, where we lived off the land and ocean. As a child, I spent my days swimming and fishing with my family. We were close-knit and happy, but life wasn't easy. One day, when I was 12 years old, my parents told me that they had arranged for me to marry an older man from a neighboring village. They said it was traditional and necessary for our survival. I was devastated. I didn't want to leave my family or give up my dreams of traveling the world and exploring new cultures. But I had no choice in the matter, so I obeyed their wishes. My husband was kind, but much older than me, and we didn't have much in common. We lived together in his village for a few years until one day he passed away suddenly from a sudden illness. I was devastated once again, but this time I felt a sense of freedom that I hadn't experienced before. After his death, I decided to pursue my dreams and move to a big city. I worked hard, saved up money, and eventually opened my own business - a small cafe on the beach where I could still feel close to the ocean and my roots. Today, I'm proud of what I've accomplished and excited for what the future holds.
