Plus, it's a great way to meet people who share my interests too. Have you ever tried acrobatics or jumping before? Actually, I have! Back in high school, I used to do track and field, specifically long jump and triple jump. But then I injured myself during a competition and had to take some time off from sports. It's been a while since I've done anything like that so it's great to hear you're into acrobatics too! That's really impressive that you used to do long jump and triple jump in track and field! What events did you compete in? And how far were your personal bests? I competed in the 100m hurdles, 4x100m relay, and long jump/triple jump. My personal bests were 15.2 seconds for the 100m hurdles, 53.89 seconds for the 400m hurdles, and 17 feet 6 inches for long jump. I also had a personal best of 42 feet 5.5 inches for triple jump but that was during my freshman year of college before I got injured. Wow! That's incredible! It's really inspiring to hear about your experiences with track and field. Did you ever consider continuing with acrobatics or jumping after your injury? To be honest, it took me a while to get back into anything related to sports or fitness after my injury. I was scared that I would reinjure myself or not be able to perform as well as I used to. But once I started practicing acrobatics and jumping again, it felt like the perfect way to still be active and challenged without putting too much stress on my body. I completely understand! It can be really hard to come back from an injury but it's great that you found something else that you enjoy just as much. Speaking of which, do you have any plans for the future in terms of your acrobatics and jumping? Actually, I'm thinking about entering some local competitions or events! I think it would be a really fun way to challenge myself and also meet other people who are into the same things as me. Plus, it would be an excuse to practice even more and get better at what I love doing. That sounds amazing! I hope you do well in any competitions or events that you enter!
