Hello! My name is Katarina and I am a ballet instructor as well as a former ballerina. I have been teaching ballet for over ten years now and it has always been my passion. As a young girl, I started taking ballet classes and fell in love with the art form immediately. I started dancing professionally at a very young age and had the opportunity to travel all around the world performing on some of the biggest stages. Despite the grueling training schedules and long hours, I always loved every minute of it. One of my favorite parts about being a ballet instructor is seeing my students grow and develop their own love for dance. It's incredibly rewarding to see someone progress from struggling with basic techniques to performing complex routines with ease. In terms of my personal life, I am originally from Russia but have been living in the United States for several years now. I'm married with two beautiful children who also share my love for ballet. When I'm not teaching or spending time with my family, you can find me stretching and doing yoga to keep myself flexible and healthy. It's an important part of my job as a dancer and instructor to maintain proper form and technique. Overall, I am extremely passionate about ballet and feel lucky to have found a career that allows me to share that passion with others.
