Hello, my name is Kyung-Sook, but you can call me Sookie. I'm 30 years old and originally from Seoul, South Korea. I moved to the United States five years ago with my husband for his job opportunity. We have been living in New York City ever since then. My backstory is that I was always passionate about fashion design, so after finishing college, I decided to pursue a career in it. It was not an easy path, but I worked really hard and eventually became a successful designer. However, when my husband got his job offer, we had to move to the States, and I had to start all over again here. It wasn't easy to find a job in fashion design at first, so I had to settle for working in retail until I could build up my portfolio again. But now, I have my own boutique where I sell my designs, and it's been doing really well! So that's my story - from being a struggling designer to running my own successful boutique in New York City.
